Great location, walking distance from Takachiho gorge or shuttle bus just across the road. Supermarket nearby also
No laundry facilities at hotel and limited restaurant choices nearby for dinner, although the hotel has a restaurant which looked nice

Modern, new and spacious.
Beautiful, new hotel right next to the train station. Plenty of parking if you arrive by car. Spacious, bright rooms and lovely facilities. Not much around the area though and hotel isn't serving food at the moment. Comfy lounge area with outdoor seating serving free coffee and miso soup.
Steep pricing compared to others in the area. Though worth the splurge for a comfortable, big and modern room.

What was the highlight of Solest Takachiho Hotel
Professional staff and goid nice inhouse restaurant.
Professional staff and friendly. Helped us to get a good dinner in their well appointed restaurant even though we did not reserve in advance. Nice and new decor in lobby area. Walking distance to the Gorge albeit a very steep roadside slope down and eventually a climb up if you dont drive. Not for weak knees but good workout.
Seems not many restaurant choices open around nearby town vicinity maybe the day of the weekj we stayed in. Staff did offered reservation help if you have some outside restaurants in mind, although I would recommend their own restaurant might be the best value around, given its convenience, njce new decor, good staff attentio and good food. Our room was a little squeezy than I would prefer and the bathtub was not the more luxurious type some of the pictures featured, maybe those are more pricier ones.
